Zaid Abdul-Aleem

Zaid Abdul-Aleem is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he focuses on Private Funds Advisory. He joined the Firm to help launch the Private Funds Advisory group, which provides capital raising, secondary market and other independent advisory services globally. Mr. Abdul-Aleem has 20 years of investment banking and capital raising experience, most recently a Principal at Greenhill in the Private Capital Advisory Group. Before joining Greenhill, he was an Executive Vice President and Head of Business Development for Piedmont Investment Advisors where he was responsible for marketing and client service to U.S. institutional investors. Mr. Abdul-Aleem previously worked for seven years in the Investment banking Division of Morgan Stanley and was a Fulbright Scholar to Brazil.

Mr. Abdul-Aleem holds a B.A. and an M.A. from Duke University.

Mark Aedy is a Managing Director and Head of Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Investment Banking at Moelis & Company. Mr. Aedy has over 35 years of investment banking experience, building and managing investment banking franchises and advising clients on a range of strategic merger, acquisition and capital markets transactions. Previously, Mark served as Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa Corporate and Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and was a member of the Global Corporate and Investment Banking Executive Committee. He also held several senior management positions at Merrill Lynch, including Head of Investment Banking, Europe, Middle East and Africa; Head of Metals & Mining; and Head of General Industrials. Before joining Merrill Lynch in 2000, Mark was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust.

Mark holds a B.A. (Honours) from Durham University. He is a Non-Executive Director of the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and currently serves on The Roundhouse Next Generation Committee.

Erick Alberti is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he focuses on advising clients in the Technology, Media & Telecom sectors. He joined the Firm to help launch the office in São Paulo, the Firm’s first in South America. Mr. Alberti has over a decade of investment banking experience and has advised on a variety of M&A, equity and fixed income transactions across the technology, media, telecom, payments and consumer sectors. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Alberti was a Partner at BR Partners. Before that, he spent seven years in investment banking at Citigroup in Brazil and New York.

Mr. Alberti holds a B.S. from Babson College.

Lord Charles Allen, Baron Allen of Kensington, CBE is the Chairman of ISS A/S, a leading global facility services company; Chairman of Global Ltd, the largest commercial radio group in the United Kingdom; as well as Chairman of 2 Sisters Food Group Ltd, a leading food production company serving the retail sector. From 2008 to May 2015, Lord Allen served as a Senior Advisor to Goldman Sachs, advising the firm’s private equity portfolio and banking business. That year, Lord Allen also joined the board of Virgin Media Group, on which he served until 2013, and the board of EMI Music, where he served as Chairman until 2010. Beginning in 1999, Lord Allen served for 10 years as a non-executive director on the board of Tesco PLC. Throughout his career, Lord Allen has also held Chief Executive Officer positions at Compass Group PLC and ITV PLC.

Lord Allen was involved with the London Olympic and Paralympic Games – serving as Vice Chairman of the London 2012 bid; and serving on the board of the London Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. From 2006 to 2008, he acted as the Chief Advisor to the UK Home Office, providing advice and support to the Home Secretary and the Home Office Board on various matters.

Stephen Aulsebrook

Stephen Aulsebrook is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Aulsebrook has nearly 30 years of European investment banking experience and was most recently the CEO of Close Brothers Corporate Finance (recently renamed DC Advisory Partners) and previously Co-Chairman and Head of the European Restructuring Group at Close Brothers. Prior to this, Mr. Aulsebrook worked at Hill Samuel and Bankers Trust. He has built an extensive network of relationships in Europe, the U.S., Asia and the Middle East across leading corporations, banks, hedge funds, other principal funds and private equity investors through his work on mergers and acquisitions and financial restructuring transactions.

Mr. Aulsebrook holds a degree in Law from the University of Leeds and subsequently qualified as a Barrister at the Inns of Court School of Law. He was called to the Bar by the Inner Temple and attended the Corporate Finance Program at the London Business School.

Geoffrey Austin

Geoffrey Austin is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he specialises in advising clients in the media and communications sector. Mr. Austin has over 25 years of investment banking experience advising corporate and financial sponsor clients on many of the most significant transactions in the sector, including M&A, leveraged buyout, restructuring and debt and equity transactions. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, Mr. Austin was a Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Media and Communications Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank. In this role he was responsible for a top-ranked global team focused on advising companies in the sector as well as on related coverage of financial sponsors. Before that, he worked at SG Hambros Corporate Finance, formerly known as Hambros Bank.

Mr. Austin holds an M.A. from Oriel College, Oxford University, and attended the Corporate Finance Programme at London Business School. He is President of the Oriel Society, a member of the Oriel Campaign Board and a member of the Childline Board of the NSPCC.

Azad Badakhsh is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he focuses on advising clients in the aerospace & defense sectors. Kristian Bagger is a Senior Advisor at Moelis & Company. Mr. Bagger joined Moelis & Company in 2008 after a 20-year career at Deutsche Bank, most recently as a Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Investment Banking and previously as Head of Nordic & BeNeLux Investment Banking and Head of the Industrials, Consumer and Healthcare Industry Groups. While at Deutsche Bank, Mr. Bagger built leading franchises in the Nordic and BeNeLux regions and served on Deutsche Bank’s European Investment Banking Management Committee. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Mr. Bagger was an investment banker at Smith Barney. Over the years, Mr. Bagger has advised clients in a variety of industries on the full spectrum of corporate finance matters, specializing in mergers & acquisitions.

Mr. Bagger holds an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.

He began his investment banking career at SG Warburg in 1992, which was acquired by UBS in 1996.

Julian Biggins is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company Australia. Mr. Biggins has nearly 15 years of investment banking experience, primarily covering the real estate industry. Throughout his career, Mr. Biggins has provided capital and transaction advisory services to real estate companies and funds management clients in the Asia-Pacific region. He has experience in global real estate markets and has advised Australian companies acquiring real estate or real estate businesses in the United States, United Kingdom, Continental Europe, Japan and China.

David Bradshaw

David Bradshaw is a Senior Advisor at Moelis & Company, where he specializes in advising companies in the oil and gas sector. Mr. Bradshaw has nearly 30 years of investment banking experience both advising upstream oil and gas companies and covering the oil and gas exploration and production industry as an equity research analyst. He most recently served as a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division of Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. (TPH) where he advised upstream oil and gas companies. Prior to TPH, Mr. Bradshaw was an advisory director at UBS where he focused primarily on U.S. independent oil and gas producers. During the first 15 years of his career, he served as an equity analyst at PaineWebber, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Deutsche Bank.

Mr. Bradshaw holds a B.S. in Finance from Oklahoma State University and an M.S. in Finance from Texas Tech University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He is currently involved in the Manhattan Council of the Boy Scouts of America, the Gary Sinise Foundation and serves on the Board of Directors for the Houston Producers’ Forum as well as Concure Oncology.

Dave Brown is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company and Head of the U.S. Private Fund Advisory group. He joined the Firm to help launch the Private Funds Advisory group, with extensive experience advising on fundraises across the spectrum of investment strategies and geographies worldwide. Previously, Mr. Brown was a Managing Director and Co-Head of Greenhill’s Private and Real Estate Capital Advisory Groups. He joined Greenhill in 2008 from Lehman Brothers, where he served as a Senior Vice President of Lehman’s Private Fund Marketing Group. Before that, he was a Director of New York Life Investment Management and prior to that, played as a quarterback for 10 years in the National Football League for the New York Giants and the Arizona Cardinals.

Mr. Callaci has over 26 years of investment banking experience advising corporate clients, private equity firms and family owners on a wide range of transactions including M&A, divestitures, defense, joint ventures, leveraged buyouts, initial public offerings, common equity, preferred stock and debt financings. Prior to joining Moelis & Company, he was Co-Head of the Consumer Investment Banking Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Prior to his 17-year career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Mr. Callaci worked at Salomon Brothers Inc. as an Analyst and Associate.

Mr. Callaci holds a B.S. from the University of Illinois (high honors) and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Eric Cantor is the Vice Chairman and a Managing Director at Moelis & Company where he also serves on the Board of Directors. He joined the Firm to advise clients on public policy issues across industry sectors, particularly where international business and finance intersect. Mr. Cantor, who has more than 25 years of political and business experience, was formerly United States Representative from Virginia. He served as House Majority Leader from 2010-2014, during which he led the public policy agenda for the House. During his time in office, Mr. Cantor was a champion of pro-growth solutions including lowering taxes, eliminating excessive regulation, strengthening businesses, and encouraging entrepreneurship. One of his many accomplishments as Majority Leader was the passage of the JOBS Act, which makes it easier for start-up and emerging growth companies to access capital. Mr. Cantor is regularly featured in publications focusing on a wide range of topics including both domestic and international matters.

Mr. Cantor holds a B.A. from The George Washington University, a J.D. from The College of William and Mary, and an M.A. from Columbia University. He co-authored the New York Times best-selling book, “Young Guns: A New Generation of Conservative Leaders”. Additionally, Mr. Cantor serves as a member of the Bipartisan Policy Center’s Executive Council on Infrastructure and has been named a visiting fellow at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
